X-Ray Detection and Shielding In article number 2206782, Jian-Qiang Wang, Jian Lin, co-workers demonstrate a bifunctional platform for X-ray detection shielding, which is realized by stepwise crystallization of millimeter-scale thorium cluster single crystals. The judicious synergy between high-Z cations 3-(pyridin-4-yl)benzoate ligands gives rise to radiochromic nanocluster, whose attenuation efficiency higher than that lead glass containing 40% PbO.
